Last week, our district celebrated Wellness Week. A special thank you to the Putnam County Task Force for Youth, the High School SADD club, and the MIddle School SADD club for the assistance in planning and activities.
We were able to host Captain Scott Frank to speak to our students and parents about Digital Empowerment. Pathways Counseling Center brought in their Fatal Vision program to help our students learn the impact of impaired driving. Middle school and high school students also received their social inclusion and violence prevention trainings through the Sandy Hook promise learning program. Each student learned about the 9-8-8 crisis line as well and the 741741 textline. K-12 students participated in dress up days related to wellness and learned about mindfulness skills, importance of being connected, and sharing gratitude.
It was a great week!
