The Miller City FFA Chapter recently provided and prepared a special meal in honor of local veterans. This event allowed members to show their appreciation for the service and sacrifices of those who have served our country. It also gave students an opportunity to give back to the community while demonstrating leadership and teamwork.

Our Sophomore class had another exciting day diving deeper into their post-graduation possibilities! This week, they continued exploring the 3 E’s (Enrollment, Employment, and Enlistment) by visiting four outstanding organizations that highlight pathways to success after high school. Thank you to these organizations for hosting our students!

🔧 Grob Systems, Inc. – Students learned firsthand about Grob’s highly respected apprenticeship program, gaining insight into advanced manufacturing, hands-on training, and the skills needed to build a strong technical career.

🎓 Bluffton University – Students explored campus life, academic programs, and scholarship opportunities while imagining their future as college students pursuing their passions.

🛠️ Millstream Career Center – Students discovered a variety of career-focused pathways, certifications, and hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for immediate success in the workforce.

🏊 Putnam County YMCA – Students met with YMCA staff to learn about available job opportunities, including lifeguarding, childcare positions, and becoming a summer camp counselor—all excellent employment options that build responsibility, leadership, and communication skills.

We are proud of our Wildcats for taking meaningful steps toward their future and exploring all the possibilities waiting for them after graduation. 💙💛
