The Miller City FFA Chapter began their trip to the State FFA Convention at the first session, receiving the prestigious Charitable Giving Award. Members Dylan, Brody, and Zac also competed in the State Agricultural Engineering Career Development Event (CDE) where they constructed a garden wagon that they designed in only 3 hours. The team placed 5th at the state contest. Keynote speaker Nikki Joiner delivered a powerful message highlighting that more isn’t always better. They ended the day with a tour at the Ohio State Controlled Environment Agriculture Research facility where they toured the complex and greenhouses that are being used for student-led experiments.

Dylan, Zac, and Brody recently competed in the State Ag Engineering CDE in Columbus. Students had to design a project using CAD software and fabricate their design. They placed 5th in the state!
