Lastly, they had to identify different aromas and the differences between a series of foods. They placed second out of thirteen teams. Congratulations to the team for advancing to the state competition on January 25th at Columbus! Three members placed in the top ten and their individual placements are listed below. Reagan -1st place Kallee-5th place Miriam -6th place

The Miller City Mechanical Principles class completed an Ag Commodity Training this past Friday. Thank You to Danielle Banks from Rhodes State College who came in to instruct the training. This training session provides students with valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to earn a credential. They also learned how to sample, inspect, and test grain. The students will have an opportunity to take a test, which can give them a certificate to be a Ag Commodity Tester.

Congratulations to junior Mia for having one of her poems selected to be published in the American High School Poets Winter 2025 anthology! Mia’s poem has been selected as a Topical Winner for the “Of Love and Dedication” section of this anthology. This section is described as "a meaningful study of love and loyalty-based poems written by teenagers for teenagers, which explores how today's teens approach various types of love and loyalty issues.” With this publication, Mia’s poem is in the top 2% of all poems submitted to this national contest. Congratulations, Mia!
