PaySchools Central is now available to all parents (https://www.payschoolscentral.com/) or Payschools App. Parents may take care of Lunch Balances, K-8 Grade Level Fees, iPad/Chromebook Fees & Free/Reduced Applications in PaySchools. In-person payments may be made at the school on the following dates/times: 8/12-8/13: 7:30–11:30am & 12:30–2:00pm; 8/14 6:30–8:00pm.
The annual soccer alumni game will be Sunday, August 3rd. The girls will play at 7pm followed by the boys at 8pm. Take advantage of this opportunity to play under the lights!
Fall sports pictures will be next Wednesday, August 6th, beginning at 8AM on the youth soccer field for outdoor sports and we will move into the gym after that for volleyball.
We will have the required annual cross country meeting Monday, July 28 at 6 pm at the track for all parents and athletes. It is a requirement by the OHSAA to have this meeting. We will go over eligibility requirements and other information about the upcoming CC season. This is also for anyone else interested in learning more about Cross Country. Mandatory practices begin Friday August 1 at 7 am.
Crop Plot Managers Dylan, Alivia, and Issac applied the second round of fungicide to the Miller City FFA crop plot using GPS technology. The crop plot managers are excited to analyze the results and determine which time interval produced the highest yield! Thank you to Dr. Jim Uphaus for your help!
The school's main entrance and cafeteria will be closed and will not reopen until Wednesday. The only entrance that you may use at this time is the school's media center.
The Miller City soccer camp is tomorrow. Please be mindful that we are in the middle of installing new sidewalks and the athletic facilities are currently a construction zone. Please drop your child off at the practice soccer field which shares the same entrance as the little league baseball and softball diamonds.
Crop Plot Managers Issac, Noah, and Alivia recently applied fungicide to the Miller City FFA crop plot with guidance from Dr. Jim Uphaus. They are conducting a timed-application trial, applying the same fungicide at different intervals to determine which timing produces the highest yield. To ensure accuracy in their results Dr. Uphaus showed them how to utilize GPS technology for precise application. A special thank you to Dr. Jim Uphaus for his continued support and expertise in helping make this hands-on learning opportunity possible!
This is a reminder that athletes must have sports physicals completed and physical forms turned in before the first day of practice, which is 7/28 for golf and 8/1 for all other sports. Physical forms can be uploaded to Final Forms, given to your coach, or turned in to the office during business hours.

Many Miller City FFA members represented their chapter at the 2025 Putnam County Fair through their involvement in 4-H, the Junior Fair Board, or FFA. Members brought a variety of projects, including welding, woodworking, and livestock. They also helped decorate a float for the parade. Blake recited the FFA Creed during the Opening Ceremonies, while Zac and Noah served on the Junior Fair Court and Issac was crowned Junior Fair King! Some of our members also recieved awards during their shows. Congratulations to all members for your hard work, leadership, and dedication throughout the fair! Beat the heat open runs for high school and middle school cross country training will be starting on Monday June 16 at 7 am. Workouts will last for around 45 mins to an hour in the beginning. We will try to plan for each runners experience level so you can run on your own as well if you can't make it. Consistency and progression is the key in cross country training.
Bring a friend and tell them how fun CC IS! Any Miller City HS or MS student is welcome even if they haven't signed up for cross country.

Congratulations to senior track athlete Andrea Pfau! Andrea finished 4th in the state meet's 3200m run today at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus, running a personal best of 11:14. In doing so, she has earned All-Ohio status. Congratulations, Andrea!!
